Message from Hon Sangramsinh Jaysinh Mohite Patil, President, Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Akluj .

Dear All,

I am privileged to address you as the President of Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Akluj, and welcome all stakeholders of Shankarrao Mohite Mahavidyalaya, Akluj, one of the leading branches of Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Akluj.

Sahakar Maharshi Shankarrao Mohite Patil established Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Akluj in 1948 keeping in mind to provide education to the masses in this area. Initially, he started Vijay Vidyarthi Vasatigrah (boys hostel) and some High Schools. Later, he realized that the students of farmers, labourers and down trodden masses in this area are in need of Higher Education and established Shankarrao Mohite Mahavidyalaya, Akluj in the year 1967 (formerly Arts Science and Commerce College, Akluj). Now, Shikshan Prasarak Mandal provides education right from pre primary to post graduation. Along with traditional education, Home science, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Teacher Training colleges are also run by the Mandal.

Shankarrao Mohite Mahavidyalaya, Akluj is committed to nurturing academic excellence, holistic development, and social responsibility. As one of our esteemed branches, Shankarrao Mohite Mahavidyalaya plays a vital role in translating these ideals into reality, preparing our youth to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

The classes from 11th standard (Science, Commerce and Arts) to UG, PG and Ph.D. programs are conducted in the college. The college is the best platform in this area for higher education. The progress of the college lies in the cooperation of the stakeholders among themselves.

We appreciate your unwavering support and dedication. Together, we will continue to strengthen the quality of education, enhance infrastructure, and forge strong ties with industry and society, ensuring that our graduates emerge as capable, ethical, and innovative leaders.
