About Department :

• The Department of mathematics is located at A wing (Room No. A-21) .
• Mathematics department is established in June 2013.
• Initially there were only four teachers and 17 students in the Department.
• Prof. A. N. Thite was the Head of the Department up to July 2016.
• Now the Department has two C.H.B teaching staff.
• Also the department celebrates National Mathematics Day on 22 December every year and organizes quiz competition for students of mathematics department.
• After completion of graduation, students are getting job & high merit students joins the post –graduate courses.
• Some students of the department qualified SET/NET exams while pursuing their M.SC. Degree.
• All the teaching staff take more efforts collectively for progress of the Department under the guidance of principal Dr. S. K. Tilekar.
