The Earn and Learn scheme is being implemented in the college with the objective of providing financial assistance to the poor and needy students admitted in the college. This activity, which enhances the reputation of the labor, creates interest for the students to do any work in the future.
By circulating a notice, the college invites applications from the needy students to join the scheme. The students are selected through interviews to participate in the scheme. The selected students are provided work in the Library, Night Reading Room, Administrative Office, Laboratory, Gymkhana etc. Each student is paid Rs. 20 / - per hour as honorarium. Also, each student is given two hours of work per day.
The college has provided separate funds for the honorarium of this scheme
