Research Centre for Ph.D.
Shankarrao Mohite Mahavidyalay, Akuj is established by Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Akluj in 1967. It is multi disciplinary grant-in-aid college affiliated to Punyshlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur. The college is recognized under section 2(F) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act 1956 .
The college started History (UG) in 1970 and History (PG) in 2005. There has been a good traditional of results both at UG and PG and the research degree has acquired prominent place in the career of the students. Keeping this in mind and as the research guide was available in the department, the college started Ph.D. Research Centre from the year 2018. At present, there research guides in the department. This is Three research guide in the department.
